RW SHD was awarded a CON for 100 skilled nursing beds in Uvalde county, Texas. RW SHD has begun discussions with the hospital to purchase land for the facility. The new state of the art facility would stand out among the 2 older senior housing properties currently in the area. RW SHD also has a senior living property 40 miles from Uvalde.
November 2018 RW Senior Housing Development affiliate closes on a $5 million HUD loan.
Cedar Hills Geriatric Center has closed on a $5 million HUD loan. Cedar Hills utilized NYC based lender Greystone for the project which began with a bridge loan 2 years ago. Cedar Hills is an 86-bed nursing home in West Texas with an average occupancy being greater than 95% consistently over the last 5 years.
September 2018 RW Senior Housing Development actively pursuing a land acquisition in San Angelo, TX for new nursing home.
RW SHD is working with the San Angelo economic development team, city, and reality brokers in selecting a greater than 5-acre parcel for its soon to be constructed 119-bed state of the art skilled nursing home. RW SHD has narrowed the selection down to 3 parcels and has a goal to purchase before year-end.
